We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist & Support Services Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy office environment., Reporting to the Workplace Manager, you will be responsible for managing front-of-house reception services, handling enquiries, coordinating visitor management processes, and supporting workplace operations. You will ensure visitors and callers receive a professional and welcoming experience while maintaining accurate records and supporting building administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Welcome guests and provide a professional, friendly, and efficient reception service.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, manage enquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
  • Take messages and coordinate follow-up actions when required.
  • Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures and maintain accurate visitor records.
  • Ensure reception and front-of-house areas are clean, professional, and well-presented.
  • Assist with office supply ordering and the maintenance of reception equipment.
  • Monitor and process incoming and outgoing post.
  • Assist with building operations, security procedures, compliance activities, and contractor coordination.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively resolve queries and issues where possible.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, customer service, or workplace support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and confident approach when interacting with visitors and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using office systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
