We are seeking a Site Operations Manager to lead the delivery of Soft FM services across Orpington and Beckenham Beacon.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of housekeeping, catering, portering, waste, small retail and workforce management services., We are looking for an experienced operational leader who can build strong client relationships, drive continuous improvement and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences while maintaining compliance, operational excellence and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Soft FM teams across multiple service lines, ensuring consistent service excellence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, building trusted and collaborative relationships.
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of housekeeping, catering, portering, waste, small retail and workforce management services.
- Ensure all services meet agreed KPIs, SLAs, contractual requirements and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, sustainability initiatives and the adoption of digital solutions.
- Lead workforce planning, performance management, development activities and team engagement programmes.
- Maintain full compliance with HSE, food safety and environmental regulations, including audits, risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, identify efficiencies and support contract reviews and service development initiatives.
- FM Level 3-4 qualification or equivalent in Facilities or Service Management.
- Hospitality Management qualification or equivalent hotel operations training.
- Proven leadership experience within Soft FM or hospitality operations.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contracts.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive, calm and professional approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance customer experience and deliver service excellence.
- Proficiency in CAFM systems, Microsoft Office, Excel and digital reporting tools.
