Rapid Response Cleaner (Mobile) Location: Leeds (and surrounding areas) Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract | 6 Months ISS, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is looking for a Rapid Response Cleaner to join our team on a 6-month FTC. In this role as Rapid Response Cleaner, you will be guaranteed 40 hours per week covering a large area with a significant amount of driving each day. This role will offer flexibility in scheduling to help balance work and personal commitments. You’ll be equipped with brand-new tools and modern cleaning methods, plus a company van and fuel card for business use, along with a uniform, mobile phone, and PPE to help you work safely and efficiently. Job Description As a Rapid Response Cleaner, you will play a vital role in supporting the business across all aspects of self-delivered activities within the aligned UK sector. Working alongside both direct and indirect account teams, you’ll help ensure effective service delivery and frontline compliance at all times. Key Responsibilities * Provide BAU cover for cleaners’ absence, carrying out standard site cleaning * Handle reactive jobs from the help desk, such as spillages or sickness clean-ups, prioritised by urgency * Work from the weekly planned schedule, but adjust for reactive tasks * Receive training in Pure Space cleaning methods and equipment, including backpack vacuums and van kits * Significant driving is required and must be understood before starting Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications * Cleaning experience not essential – backgrounds such as care, nurseries, or warehouses welcome * Training is provided with a focus on new working methods * Adaptable and ready to work rather than fixed in existing cleaning habits * Able to pass BPSS checks * UK driving licence held for at least 12 months * Resident in the UK for the past five years The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
