The postholder will act as the primary liaison with the client on day-to-day operational matters, ensuring smooth service delivery and excellent working relationships.The Role
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of cleaning/domestic staff across different shifts, ensuring high standards of performance, attendance, and conduct.
- Develop and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client on all operational issues, ensuring strong communication and positive relationships.
- Monitor performance against agreed KPIs and take corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and company standards at all times.
- Identify opportunities for service improvements and contribute to the continuous development of the cleaning service.
Proven experience in managing teams within a cleaning, facilities, or related environment.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, and rota management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
