ISSMulti Skilled Operative Supervisor Contract: Government
Location: London | Hours: 40 per week | Contract Type: Permanent
As the Multi-Skilled Operative Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading your teams and ISS supply partners to deliver safe and compliant mail and porterage services, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while providing a superior customer experience to a high-profile site and VIPs. A key aspect of your role will be maintaining strong attention to detail and fostering excellent working relationships with ISS building users, customers, and operational support teams. You will have full accountability for the performance and success of your team. Key Responsibilities
- You will read, understand, and operate in line with the Service Requirements document, service matrix and other associated documents
- Ensure effective and timely delivery of supplier services to agreed timescales, service requirement, scope and quality as described within the service contracts
- Have a full and detailed understanding of the contract specific to your area of the business to ensure that all services are delivered to the agreed standard and within budget and to approved values for all Billable Works
- Track and control contract costs and provide clear and timely reporting as required and detailed within the contract documents
- Promote and ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality systems of work are implemented, maintained, and understood
- Support any key events in and out of normal working hours
- Ensure that key customers and Stakeholders are routinely engaged (formally and informally) so to maintain excellent relationships and maintain information pertaining to performance
- Own, drive and grow the relationship to improve the contract service offering
- IOSH Managing Safely preferable or to be achieved once in position
- NEC3 and/or NEC4 contract experience
- NVQ in Leading/Managing staff is advantageous
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams in a commercial, customer facing role within service provider capacity and preferably within the FM industry
- Experience of managing teams in a commercial, front of house and high-profile environment
- Working in Public Sector commercial environments is preferable
- Successfully managing multiple stakeholders, demands and time pressures
- Experience of working with Union representatives
- Requires specialist knowledge and high degree of initiative, creativity with a wide scope for discretion
