Job Description The Fire Door Inspector/Maintainer will conduct fire door surveys, remedial works, and installations to the highest standard, following the BM Trada Q-Mark scheme. This role covers a variety of client properties throughout the designated region. Emphasising world-class building services maintenance, you will ensure that all fire door-related tasks are performed with precision and compliance. Key Responsibilities * Responsibility for Fire Door PPM, remedial repairs and installation works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded * Provide accurate remedial quotations * Occasionally assist with other carpentry/joinery works as instructed * Ensure that all Fire Doors operates to specified performance criteria * Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction * Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications * NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification OR * Time served carpentry and joinery experience. * Applicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred * Must be IT literate * Full UK Driving License * Significant experience in Fire Door Surveys, door maintenance and door set installations/Replacements * Significant previous experience in providing PPM building services maintenance The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
