We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Shift Engineer to join our team at an engaging and technically interesting site.
In this role, you\’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of electrical and mechanical systems – ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as per schedules
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and help desk requests
- Address customer enquiries and complaints, reporting outcomes to management
- Carry out follow-up actions to resolve issues within authorised scope
- Diagnose Electrical and Mechanical faults for both PPM and reactive tasks
- Conduct minor installations and repair lighting and distribution systems
- Provide site cover as required across other locations
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience working in business-critical environments with similar maintenance responsibilities
- Skilled in fault diagnosis and rectification across electrical systems
- Qualified with City & Guilds Parts 1, 2, and 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent
- Holds 18th Edition IEE Registration (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) preferred but not essential
- Familiar with Building Management Systems and computer-based PPM systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and via IT platforms
