We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Shift Engineer to join our team at an engaging and technically interesting site.

In this role, you\’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of electrical and mechanical systems – ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as per schedules
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and help desk requests
  • Address customer enquiries and complaints, reporting outcomes to management
  • Carry out follow-up actions to resolve issues within authorised scope
  • Diagnose Electrical and Mechanical faults for both PPM and reactive tasks
  • Conduct minor installations and repair lighting and distribution systems
  • Provide site cover as required across other locations

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience working in business-critical environments with similar maintenance responsibilities
  • Skilled in fault diagnosis and rectification across electrical systems
  • Qualified with City & Guilds Parts 1, 2, and 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent
  • Holds 18th Edition IEE Registration (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) preferred but not essential
  • Familiar with Building Management Systems and computer-based PPM systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and via IT platforms
