Electrical Engineer Location: London, E14 9SH Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: 6-months Fixed Term Contract ISS provides comprehensive facilities management solutions, encompassing cleaning and hygiene services, maintenance and building operations, catering, front of house, hospitality, security, and bespoke services tailored to clients within Key Accounts 1, Key Accounts 2, and Specialised Services. Job Description As an Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in advancing ISS’s mission to become the world’s leading service organisation by ensuring optimal service performance and empowering customer purpose. You will play a key role in maintaining environmental conditions and the performance of building systems. Core responsibilities include executing planned preventive maintenance (PPM), responding to reactive and breakdown issues, and managing electrical and mechanical systems on-site. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and adaptable professional, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment. The role demands adherence to client site standards, efficient and safe execution of tasks, and the delivery of high-quality results in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Key Responsibilities * Comply with company and client Health & Safety policies * Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required * Perform routine Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on electrical and mechanical plant per site task schedules and asset lists * Address reactive maintenance tasks throughout the building and highlight improvement opportunities * Swiftly resolve plant faults and defects to ensure equipment remains serviceable * Maintain a Safe and Healthy working environment, including uniform and PPE compliance * Supervise and monitor subcontractors while they perform maintenance on-site * Ensure adherence to contractual KPIs/SLAs * Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System (e.g., Tririga) up to date, accurately closing PPM and remedial tickets * Complete tasks as directed by the site management team * Participate in rotational call-out duties for EMEA & APC incident management * Perform additional tasks as defined by the client Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications * Experience in managing multiple high-level, time-sensitive projects simultaneously with superb attention to detail * Work independently and operationally as part of a team * Experience working in fast-paced environments * Understanding of the financial services sector * Proactively plan schedules and itineraries, considering multi-time zones and conflicting calendars * Exhibit professionalism, commitment, conscientiousness, proactivity, and innovation * Numerate, accurate, and confident, with the ability to work on own initiative * Strong communication skills for interaction with clients, operations, suppliers, and team members, with prior client-facing experience The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
