ISS in the UK provides high quality facility services designed to maintain the fabric and appearance of buildings. ISS provides facilities management; cleaning & hygiene services; maintenance and building services; catering; security; landscaping and a wide range of other tailor-made services for customers throughout the Public and Private Sectors., As Electrical Engineer, you will be expected to support the maintenance operation in place on the site.

This support is coordinated through the Contract Manager who will guide and direct the daily duties of work.

You will provide a level of General Building Maintenance, including Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric, as part of a small multi-disciplinary building Service’s Team and will be part of the on-call response team., * Support the achievement of a ‘Best in Class’ approach to Engineering and Fabric services including those provided through supplier organisations.

  • Carry out Planned Maintenance as instructed by the CAFM System

  • Become competent in the operation of the sites Building Management and Planned maintenance computer systems.

  • Carry out reactive maintenance as instructed by Site Management

  • Assist in resolving maintenance issues raised by retailers

  • Assist the other maintenance staff as is required

  • Assist with any training that may be required by other staff

  • Liaise with Contractors, giving assistance as is agreed by the FM/CM

  • Oversee the working of Contractors as is required by the FM/CM

  • Respond to site emergencies as requested by the Site Management

  • Carry out caretaker functions to vacated shop units

  • NVQ level 2 and higher in an M&E qualification

  • City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2

  • City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008)

  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5)

  • JIB Accredited

  • IPAF / PASMA

  • Previous experience of building maintenance within a Service Industry

  • Previous experience of working in a busy demand led environment

  • Previous experience of working with the Maximo CAFM System
