Electrical Compliance Engineer Location: London Hours of work: 41.25 Contract Type: Permanent We’re seeking a skilled and self-motivated electrician to join our team, conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and undertaking remedial works in retail, commercial, and office environments. Job Description You’ll be joining a knowledgeable and supportive team with a reputation for delivering high standards and quality workmanship. This role offers daily opportunities for overtime due to the nature of the sites, with flexible working hours available – especially during school holidays when you can finish at a normal time or continue into the evening to benefit from enhanced pay rates. You’ll need to be confident in working independently, fully up to date with BS7671: 18th Edition wiring regulations, and capable of producing completed NICEIC certification. This is a great role for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys variety in their day-to-day. Key Responsibilities * Carry out Fixed Wire Testing and complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across multiple client contracts * Generate and manage remedial work lists following inspections * Deliver all electrical inspection, testing and remedial works to BS7671: 18th Edition standards * Operate independently, demonstrating initiative, responsibility, and strong organisational skills * Represent ISS professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery * Maintain full compliance with HSEQ policies, statutory regulations, and contractual obligations * Accurately complete and submit all required documentation, records, and certifications within agreed timeframes * Ensure all vehicle and personal compliance logs are kept up to date per company policy * Act as a key point of contact for customer liaison, raising and escalating concerns appropriately Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications * City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS7671) – Electrical Wiring Regulations * City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) – Inspection & Testing * Proven experience in Fixed Wire Testing within commercial environments * Strong understanding of electrical installations and compliance standards * Confident in producing EICRs and identifying remedial actions UK The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
