Job Description
Within the UK, ISS provides high quality facility services designed to maintain the fabric and appearance of buildings. ISS provides facilities management; cleaning & hygiene services; maintenance and building services; catering; security; landscaping and a wide range of other tailor-made services for customers throughout the Public, Private and specialist sectors.\\n\\nJob Description\\n\\nThe Service Engineer (AC) will provide Air Conditioning bias and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties throughout the designated region. This will include Air Conditioning bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation.\\n\\nThe emphasis is on providing a world class building services maintenance service.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nResponsibility for AC and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.\\n\\nResponsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.\\n\\nTo provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.\\n\\nTo undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients’ AC systems.\\n\\nDiagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.\\n\\nTo undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
Issue of Permits to Work.\\n\\nEnsure that all AC equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.\\n\\nEnsure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards.\\n\\nTo provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.\\n\\nTo evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.\\n\\nTo take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.\\n\\nProfessional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications\\n\\nPERSON SPECIFICATION:\\nQualifications\\nCity and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent\\nAND\\nNVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems\\nOR\\nNVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation\\nOR\\nNVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation Service & Maintenance\\nIPAF / PASMA\\nFull UK Driving License.\\nApplicants with electrical qualifications will be preferred.\\n\\nExperience\\nSignificant experience in providing air conditioning and HVAC related building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance and installation.\\nSignificant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance.\\n\\nExperience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties.\\nExperience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements.\\n\\nThe Company\\n\\nISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
