We are seeking an experienced Operational Trainer to join our Operational Service Centre, supporting the development of high-performing facilities maintenance teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape training programmes, support operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement across a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- You will design, deliver, and continuously improve training that ensures operational teams have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality, compliant services.
- Working closely with Team Leaders and stakeholders, you will support team development, contract mobilisation, and the consistent rollout of processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging training for operational teams (in-person and virtual).
- Identify skills gaps and support development through structured learning and skills matrices.
- Support mobilisation of new contracts through effective onboarding and training delivery.
- Roll out new processes and systems, keeping training materials up to date.
- Reinforce quality, compliance, and best practice through coaching and training.
- Monitor training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
About You
- Experience in training, coaching, or L&D within an operational or facilities environment.
- Strong understanding of service delivery and operational processes.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Passionate about developing people and improving performance.
Additional Information
This role may require occasional travel and flexibility to support training across multiple locations. Strong IT skills are essential, with tools such as Microsoft Visio being advantageous.
