Reporting to the Key Account Director, the Site Manager will act as the single point of contact for all operational matters on site. You will be responsible for maintaining a successful and sustainable relationship with our client, ensuring that all service delivery meets statutory compliance and contractual obligations.
This role requires strong leadership, as you will be providing direction and support to all ISS colleagues based on site. Promoting a positive health and safety culture will be a key priority, alongside driving operational excellence and embedding best practices to enhance performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. We’re looking for a confident and proactive leader who can ensure seamless delivery, inspire teams, and represent ISS with integrity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure high client satisfaction by supporting consistent service delivery, local initiatives, and process/reporting standards
- Lead all technical services to meet contractual and statutory requirements while driving cost savings and risk management
- Own financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and debt management, while meeting growth and margin targets
- Manage operational resources, including recruitment, development, and succession planning for technical leadership roles
- Oversee CAFM systems to ensure accurate service delivery reporting and compliance
- Act as the primary technical contact for the client, ensuring obligations are met and strong relationships are maintained
- Develop and deliver a strategic technical services plan aligned to client needs and ISS objectives
- Proven leadership in technical services delivery within a building services environment, ideally in retail
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; Chartered/Registered Engineer status preferred
- Strong experience managing engineering contracts, with solid commercial awareness and project delivery
- Skilled in developing and implementing processes, systems, and best practices for hard FM services
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, planning, and team leadership skills
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, decision-making and a structured, problem-solving approach
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer service, innovation, and continuous improvement
