*Happy to consider both established Shift Lead Engineers and confident Engineers looking to progress*
Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our client's Data Centre site in Gloucester. Here, leading the Shift, you will supervise 3 other engineers across the 12 hour shift, ensuring successful delivery of the engineering works (PPMs and Reactive) across electrical and mechanical systems, escorting of sub contractors, supervising any project work and closing off jobs on the digitised system.
As a Data Centre, the site is classed as a Critical Environment with an array of LV, HV distribution systems and HVAC integral for effective cooling. The leadership of the engineers is key to ensure the systems are looked after correctly, with you and your team acting as "custodians" of the site.
This is a fantastic role, working for a major FM provider on a pivotal contract within a cutting edge Data Centre Environment.
Actions will include:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems.
