Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to expand our engineering resource aligned to a key banking contract by recruiting a Supervisor to operate on a South East Regional basis, overseeing the work of Engineers across the client's retail and corporate banking estate.
You will supervise the engineering team, who are either site based or mobile, completing planned and reactive maintenance repairs, plus ensure the work of subcontractors is compliant. You will work to well-defined "Safe Systems of Work" (SSoWs) with very limited time spent on the tools yourself. This will be across a mix of small high street branches and larger, corporate, more critical environments, with LV and HV distribution systems.
While this role is largely focused on supervising the engineering team, there will be some customer-facing responsibilities, as well as working with the wider Account team. This is a fantastic role for a developing Lead Engineer or Supervisor looking to progress to manager level within a prestigious and high-profile banking contract.
Actions will include:
- Supervision of all engineering related works undertaken on the portfolio
- Delivery of Safe operational programme documentation
- Ensure high quality delivery of PPM and reactive works to meet SLA
- Implementation and Delivery of relevant ICE processes and procedures for portfolio
- HV/LV Authorised person for site(s)
- Carry out regular appraisals of the engineering team
- Ensure standards are met, including dress code, attitude, pride, self-respect and respect to others, positivity and team working
- Understand and implement H&S policy requirements
We need from you:
- A Mechanical or Electrical background and qualifications, plus some time spent in a leadership role
- AP status would be very useful
