Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to join our client's corporate campus in central Glasgow, located near the River Clyde. The client is a global banking organisation and this site is a flagship campus for their UK operation, accommodating numerous key functions. It is a newer building, and is a very modern, impressive facility, boasting a range of amenities for the end user staff. There are also 1-2 smaller satellite buildings within walking distance.

We provide full FM services, with this role being responsible for the Engineering Maintenance, spanning Mechanical, Electrical, Building Fabric and small projects. The work is delivered by ISS Shift, Day and Fabric Teams with some specialist sub-contractor support. Supported by two Supervisors, you will oversee the engineering delivery, focusing on compliance, Health & Safety, completion to contractual KPIs and SLAs. The site is classed as a Critical Environment, boasting UPS, Generators, HV etc., and so a robust engineering delivery is paramount.

This is a fantastic role for an established Engineering Leader to join a truly major corporate account working for ISS, as a market leader in the Facilities Management space.

Actions will include:

  • To work in partnership with the campus facilities team in delivering for the client a best in class workplace environment.
  • Ensure your Shift team are coordinated in their tasks given by the Engineering manager to allow works completion within SLA to ensure we ISS meet our contract KPI’s.
  • To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems.
  • Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements and ISS Safe systems of work (SSOW).
  • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records and update documentation as directed for all site related documentation.
  • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all Engineering related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
  • To co-ordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client.
  • To co-ordinate and manage visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with scheduled PPM or reactive call out.
  • Fault finding and diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
  • To deputise for Senior Critical Engineering Manager and provide support and cover to other shift leader roles as and when required.

We need from you: An M&E background plus clear engineering leadership experience.
