We’re looking for an experienced Waste Manager or Supervisor to lead waste operations across The Royal Marsden in Chelsea (SW3 6JZ) and Sutton Hospital (SM2 5PT) – with a complimentary shuttle service to make travel between sites simple and convenient.

In this key role, you’ll be the on‑site waste expert—working closely with clinical and non‑clinical teams to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable waste services. You’ll ensure full legal and environmental compliance, support the Trust’s sustainability ambitions, and drive continuous improvement across both hospitals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the waste audit schedule, ensuring accurate reporting and continuous improvement using the Waste Manager system.
  • Oversee the delivery of waste services across Sutton and Chelsea, ensuring full Trust and ISS compliance.
  • Conduct audits, log all waste movements, and maintain precise documentation.
  • Work closely with central teams to optimise waste collection schedules and identify efficiencies.
  • Develop and deliver monthly Waste Segregation training to groups of up to 20 staff, enhancing knowledge and compliance across teams.
  • Support Trust teams in improving recycling performance and achieving sustainability targets.
