Senior Sous Chef – Hospitality - Canary Wharf

Monday–Friday, daytime-focused hours (hospitality/event peaks aside), no late-night restaurant grind, high-end produce, real menu input, and the chance to help launch and shape a brand-new LeveL offer across boardrooms, fine dining, meeting rooms, event spaces and the lounge bar.

We’re looking for a Senior Sous Chef with Michelin or true 5-star hotel pedigree—someone calm, exacting and fast, who can deliver at the highest level every day, not just on “big” events. If you’re a serious operator who wants top-end hospitality without the chaos of traditional restaurant life, this is the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Run service and standards across hospitality (fine board dining, meeting room food, events, canapĂ©s and premium deli/lounge builds).
  • Lead from the pass: consistency, seasoning, timing, presentation and cleanliness.
  • Coach and raise the team: training, culture, pace and pride.
  • Own mise en place, prep systems, stock control and supplier quality.
  • Support menu development and execution of a premium, modern offer.

Qualifications:

  • Senior-level kitchen leadership in Michelin/5-star environments (or equivalent ultra-high-end volume hospitality).
  • Strong classics, modern technique, tight plating, and uncompromising standards.
  • Confident running events and VIP service under pressure.
  • Food safety and hygiene knowledge as a non-negotiable.
