Learning & Development Trainer

ISS is seeking an experienced and engaging Learning & Development Trainer to support our Government Facilities Management division across London and the South. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the colleague experience and drive operational excellence through impactful learning.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Regional Learning & Development Manager, youโll lead the coordination and delivery of training programmes to frontline teams. This includes Welcome Day inductions, Placemakers workshops, PSO (PureSpace) training, supervisor development, and job-specific skills sessions. Youโll also be responsible for maintaining accurate learning records, monitoring compliance, and supporting with the Learning Management System (MyLearning).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of in-person and virtual training programmes across multiple locations
- Champion PSO (PureSpace) training to improve cleanliness, sustainability, and user experience
- Maintain training records and manage compliance reporting for internal and client needs
- Support with training matrix development, scheduling, and tracking of uptake
- Gather feedback from learners and assess training impact
- Act as the first point of contact for MyLearning, supporting user queries and account access
- Collaborate with operational, HR, and central teams to align learning with business needs
What Weโre Looking For:
- Proven experience in a training or learning & development role, ideally supporting operational or frontline teams
- Confident presenter with excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple training programmes simultaneously
- Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems
- Understanding of effective learning methods, compliance training, and learner engagement
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and build strong working relationships
- Experience within facilities management or a similar service-led environment is advantageous
