Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our client's Data Centre site in Gloucester.
Leading the Shift, you will supervise 3 other engineers across the 12 hour shift, ensuring successful delivery of the engineering works (PPMs and Reactive) across electrical and mechanical systems, escorting of sub contractors, supervising any project work and closing off jobs on the digitised system.
As a Data Centre, the site is classed as a Critical Environment with an array of LV, HV distribution systems and HVAC integral for effective cooling.
This is a fantastic role, working for a major FM provider on a pivotal contract within a cutting edge Data Centre Environment.
Be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated M&E systems.
Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety statutory requirements.
To ensure onsite Quality Assurance ISO 9001-2000 procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the M&E aspects of the PPM and plant.
To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all M&E related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
To co-ordinate and action all Help Desk requests from the client.
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, reviewed and utilized for all tasks (PPMs and reactive) carried out to ensure safe working practices.
M&E fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
Electrical qualifications and maintenance experience.
