We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Multi-Skill Engineer with expertise in both commercial gas and electrical systems to join our team. This role will involve covering six sites across the North of Scotland, with River House as the primary location and occasional visits to other sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across gas, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and exceeding customer expectations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently across large buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all Gas and Electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance across designated sites.
- Undertake commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC maintenance, including proactive and reactive works within agreed timeframes.
- Perform new installations and major/minor repairs on client gas/heating systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant, including basic electrical fault finding.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
- Provide call-out response as per the rota and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor contractors’ work, issue Permits to Work, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Ensure all equipment operates to specified performance criteria and meets H&S regulations.
- Proven FM background with experience in PPM and reactive works.
- Fully qualified with Commercial Gas Tickets and electrical certifications.
- Strong “see it, fix it” attitude and ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence required.
