The Facilities Supervisor will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of cleaning, reception, and contractor management across the site. This is a great opportunity to work in a high-quality environment at the HQ building of our client, known for its strong culture and collaborative atmosphere.
As the principal point of contact for all on-site operations, the Facilities Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistent service excellence, full legislative compliance, and a high standard of customer satisfaction. The role demands a hands-on approach with a strong focus on maintaining robust relationships with contractors, overseeing permit-to-work processes, and upholding exemplary health and safety practices throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cleaning and reception teams, ensuring consistent high standards
- Manage and coordinate all sub-contractor activities on site
- Control permit to work process and contractor sign-in/out
- Ensure compliance with H&S and company procedures
- Deliver services in line with KPIs and SLAs
- Lead site inspections and resolve non-conformances
- Drive performance improvements and team development
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience managing both Hard and Soft FM services, including subcontractors
- Strong understanding of permit to work processes across services
- Proven experience leading cleaning teams and delivering service standards
- Confident in client communication and hosting regular meetings
- IOSH and COSHH knowledge preferred; FM qualifications desirable
- Ability to manage compliance, risk and service delivery effectively
- Skilled in team leadership, performance management and site coordination
