Here at ISS, as one of the UK\’s leading Facilities Management (FM) providers following a contract extension with one of our largest UK & Global customers, we are for the first time, looking to recruit a UK Fabric Lead to provide Account wide Fabric expertise across the customer\’s Corporate Estate, focusing on their flagship Canary Wharf Headquarters facility

The client are in retail and corporate banking, with a UK estate consisting of Retail, Corporate Head Offices, \”Campus\” facilities and Data Centres, serviced via a combination of mobile and static engineers, with local and national leadership in place

Fabric plays a key part of the Engineering service, which would include Painting & Decorating, Carpentry, Fire Doors, Plastering etc

In this role, you would be the Account based Fabric expert across the Corporate Estate only workingto upskill our Fabric Engineers and to ensure our Fabric work is of a high quality and meets our contractual KPIs and SLAs, while crafting a more pro active Fabric Strategy

You w ill, in short the Technical Authority for all things Fabric, and so this is a fantastic role for a Fabric Leader within the Built Environment

Actions will include:

  • Provide In Region Subject Matter Expertise and operational support for Building Fabric Operations Oversee the production of and manage output of RICs Building Fabric surveys across UK Corporate Portfolio
  • Support and provide focus to the timely close out of Corrective Actions raised by client and internal technical auditors, prioritising statutory & high risk items.
  • Work with the UK Engineering Director, Site Operations teams and Risk Management team in the highlighting and management of building fabric related risk issues.
  • Ensure that Building Fabric Asset Registers are maintained and support client Strategic Investment Plan production

We need from you:

  • Fabric related qualifications, SME level understanding of Fabric and good understanding of Fabric Safe System of Work (SSow)
