Here at ISS, as one of the UK\’s leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a Critical Engineering SME to manage the \”Critical Environmental Management\” (CEM) system underpinning critical engineering within a truly major banking account.
The Account consists of Retail, plus a sizeable and high profile corporate estate, encompassing a Canary Wharf Head Office, Mission Critical Campuses, a Data Centre and several smaller buildings dotted across the UK.
The criticality of these sites can be extremely high with any power outages at immense cost to the client financially and in reputation.
Therefore, a robust and comprehensive CEM is required to provide governance and control over all Critical Engineering maintenance activities.
You will be the Product Owner of the CEM, overseeing day to day function, Change Management, and to line manage the Authorising Engineers involved within the system
Working as an SME on a massive Account you will be working with a wide range of technical stakeholders and reporting into the Account\’s Technical Director.
We are looking for a qualified engineer, with an appreciation for Engineering Operations, but has progressed into compliance within the Critical Engineering space, while remains keen on career progression.
Actions will include:
- Provide leadership over the Authorising Engineer team within the Account, leading appointment and development.
- Manage the CEM Product including its Administration and operational effectiveness.
- Have leadership over Change Management within the CEM.
- Work closely with other Account SMEs notably Asset Mgmnt staff.
We need from you:
- A strong level of engineering qualification, whether Electrical and/or Mechanical.
- Strong experience of Critical Engineering.
- Leadership of Managers or Senior Engineers
- Ideally, an operational engineering background before having progressed into compliance/auditing
