Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an M&E Asset Manager to join our major corporate account in the City of London, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station. The site is large, complex and classed as critical to the client's operation.
Working with the Account team and end client, you will be the contract's Asset Manager, playing a key part in the development of an ISO 55,001 Asset Management strategy covering a full suite of Mechanical and Electrical Assets. This is a fantastic role for a developing Asset Manager looking to drive strategy for a major employer in the built environment space.
Actions will include:
- Maintain ISO 55001 certification by ensuring full alignment of the AMS and SAMP to the latest 2024 standard, including documented information control, planning of change, and performance evaluation.
- Lead governance reviews under the Asset Management Framework, providing evidence of conformity, effectiveness, and continual improvement to client and stakeholders.
- Manage the AMS documentation suite, including the SAMP, AMPs, asset lifecycle strategies, risk registers, processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and version control in accordance with ISO 55001.
- Drive operational integration of asset management practices within Tririga and field tools, ensuring data quality supports decision-making and audit readiness.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are closed within governance timelines and that audit findings strengthen compliance maturity.
- Support lifecycle investment planning, providing condition-based insights and recommendations that balance reliability, cost, and risk for UBS’s critical environment.
- Act as the subject matter expert for asset management and critical environment standards, ensuring consistent implementation of the asset management system processes across operational teams.
- Promote continuous improvement by analysing asset performance data, identifying efficiency opportunities, and feeding lessons learned into the AMS review cycle.
- Provide training and awareness to engineers, managers, and client representatives on ISO 55001 principles, AMS governance, and their roles in maintaining certification.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure the AMS supports client strategic objectives, sustainability targets, and capital investment decision-making.
