Location: regional travel around Wales
ISS Facility Services UK are now seeking a Social Sustainability Advisor to support the delivery of social value across a major government contract at a regional level. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that social value commitments are delivered meaningfully, effectively, and in alignment with customer expectations. The successful candidate will support the rollout of a comprehensive social sustainability strategy, working closely with regional teams and stakeholders to create positive and measurable community impact. This is a field‑based position with regular regional travel across Wales, requiring a full UK driving licence. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered where necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and manage the Social Value Plan for designated regions.
- Oversee regional social value commitments throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Support additional sites and collaborate with fellow Social Sustainability Advisors and internal teams.
- Lead regional project planning and ensure timely delivery of initiatives aligned with the Social Sustainability Implementation Strategy.
- Collect and report qualitative and quantitative social value data against defined KPIs.
- Capture and document evidence of successful initiatives, producing case studies for knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with relevant legislation and regional needs to ensure programmes follow best practice.
- Champion social value, supporting and upskilling site‑based teams and local social value champions.
- Work closely with Employability Managers, Employability Advisors, and L&D Managers to support inclusive recruitment objectives.
- Strong experience and understanding of Social Value-Social Sustainability.
- Proven ability to design and deliver social value initiatives from concept to completion.
- Confident communicator with excellent project management skills.
- Enjoys delivery‑focused work and engaging with a wide range of people.
- Skilled stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building abilities.
- Comfortable travelling regionally across Wales (4–5 times per week).
- Full UK driving licence (required).
