Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to develop our Carbon capability within our central Sustainability Division, which educates and empowers the rest of our UK& organisation, including different central functions and our Account teams
Here you would work with various ISS stakeholders in order to ensure our Decarbonisation \”product\” or service, is cutting edge and compliant, used both internally and externally.
In short, working with a Head of Technical Standards, you will be the driving force behind business wide education and understanding of Carbon, that can be then leveraged into our Sustainability service for end clients
You will work closely with our Account teams to understand Carbon best practices so they can deliver on Sustainability contractual deliverables to our customers, and acting as a technical authority around Carbon in general across the entire UK&I organisation
Working in collaboration with a variety of senior stakeholders, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Carbon expert to develop their skills within a market leader in the Built Environment space
Actions will include:
- Embed the right skills, knowledge and capability of Carbon into a board range of internal and external stakeholders
- Accountable for developing, managing and deploying the UKI GHG emissions technical standards and operational translation
- Develop and deliver in person and e-learning modules suitable for internal stakeholders & customers to secure the right level of understanding on βcarbonβ.
- Interpret legislation, how it affects the employer and communicate the change and impact to key stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise and support to service lines (e.g. engineering) and central departments to ensure successful implementation of carbon reduction strategies.
- Act as the authority on how the employer manages supplier related sustainability claims within our business and for our customers
We need from you:
- Strong technical understanding of Carbon Scopes 1, 2 and 3 plus a clear passion for the subject and ability to communicate to a wide range of company stakeholders
- Understanding carbon as a sustainability issue β i.e. its relationship with business, cost, compliance, risk/opportunity etc.
