Salary plus car or allowance Mon to Fri Hybrid role – home working with national travel across 3 sites (London, Bristol and Perth). *Contract is moving over to new provider in 6 months, we are happy to consider applicants looking to do a 9 month FTC role, or would be happy to TUPE over in 9 months to new provider* One of the UK’s premier Facilities Management (FM) providers are now looking for a Head of Technical to lead the UK engineering delivery across for a cornerstone UK client in professional services. The account consist of a series of corporate offices and conference centres in London, the South West, and Scotland, the buildings home to complex LV, HV and HVAC systems, serviced by static and mobile engineers, plus sub contractor support. Leading a small number of site based Engineering Managers, this Head of Technical will be responsible for the crafting and delivery of technical strategy in all aspects of engineering & asset management. This is a fantastic role for an Engineering Manager, with clear client facing experience, with the ability to support a developing contract to develop their skills on national basis across a major account. Actions will include: Strategic ownership of the engineering function on the account including compliance, technical resilience, asset management, project pipeline, training and development. Ensure and demonstrate that all engineering services are properly delivered in line with the national approach, agreed contract scope and service delivery models. Work to achieve a national approach through a common standard for Engineering and Fabric services, including those services provided through supplier organisations. Ensure that critical systems are maintained and are providing the environmental conditions and business needs required by the Clients. Ensure that all PPM, reactive and project works are within the agreed contract arrangements, delivered to consistent and common processes and methodologies and are fully compliant with statutory and H&S requirements. Ensure that all sites, in particular technical sites, are “audit ready” as far as engineering services are concerned.
