Within the UK, ISS Facility Services - Healthcare delivers Cleaning, Catering, and Integrated Facility Services across multiple client locations.
As Zonal Manager for the Oxleas Contract, you will oversee all Ward Hostess, Cleaning, and Operational services, acting as a key member of the ISS team. Supporting the Site Services Manager, you'll contribute to the planning and delivery of growth and profitability across the contract. Your focus will be on upholding the highest standards to ensure a consistent, high-quality service, aligned with the expectations of both the client (Oxleas) and the end users - including patients, staff, and visitors. This is a vital leadership role within a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment, where your expertise will directly impact the patient experience and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and develop a multi-disciplinary team with diverse skills and backgrounds
- Support service evolution in response to stakeholder needs and expectations
- Maintain high hygiene and work standards across the hospital environment
- Promote adherence to hygiene regulations and staff conduct requirements
- Establish, communicate, and uphold clear performance standards
- Proactively respond to customer needs and feedback
- Monitor service delivery to ensure consistency and quality
- Understand and address challenges and opportunities within the contract
- Build strong working relationships with client and trust representatives
- Ensure effective communication across all levels of service delivery
- Full clean UK driving licence and intermediate food hygiene qualification
- Proven experience managing cleaning and/or catering in a healthcare setting
- Background in leading diverse teams across multiple sites or services
- Strong problem-solving skills with creative operational responses
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Confident interfacing at all levels of an organisation
- Works effectively under pressure and remains solution-focused
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates good team collaboration and support
- Solid basic education and understanding of service standards
