As Workplace & Events Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational management of the ISS South Quay office, ensuring that everything we do remains aligned with our ISS Core Values.
Your role will be central to creating an exceptional environment for all who use the space, combining professionalism with a passion for service excellence.
Job Description
You will be accountable for driving the service experience by applying company methodologies, innovative concepts, and best practices.
The goal is to curate a truly world-class workplace experience that not only meets but exceeds expectations.
This position requires the ability to integrate a wide range of services into one coherent, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a people-first approach, ensuring every workplace touchpoint enhances employee and visitor experience.
  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of events, including town halls, client visits, cultural activations, and seasonal celebrations.
  • Deliver a premium, polished front-of-house and concierge-level service to all guests and stakeholders.
  • Design and implement activations that foster community, wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging.
  • Use Conviene and other workplace technology platforms to enhance communication, space booking, and feedback mechanisms, driving user satisfaction.
  • Manage and motivate a team of workplace ambassadors, embedding a \”One Team\” culture of service excellence and innovation.
  • Promote a culture of Safe Choices by proactively managing risks and ensuring all workplace activities meet health and safety regulations.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Strong corporate, office or customer service background
  • Facilities management and workplace experience
  • Proven experience in event management
  • Confident using MS Office and data systems
  • Health and safety knowledge, IOSH preferred
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Experience managing budgets of £1m+
