Reporting to the Lead Food Architect, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the craft team and collaborate with the service team to deliver an experience that is exciting, exceptional, and inspirational at every moment. You'll oversee shift operations, applying your culinary expertise and creativity to ensure food safety, quality, and compliance with customer and company expectations. You are a natural showperson - passionate about food, in tune with trends, and ready to inspire. Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the campus food strategy with a hands-on and strategic approach.
- Lead and inspire the team to ensure efficient and effective service operations.
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver memorable campus events and experiences.
- Maintain high standards and quality of all food and drink, ensuring every dish meets spec.
- Actively seek and share customer feedback to improve service and offerings.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and team development.
- Ensure full audit readiness across areas like finance, health & safety, and food safety.
- Lead daily service briefings to align the team and set expectations.
- Promote a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
- Champion client satisfaction and repeat custom through exceptional service.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- SCQF Level 8 or equivalent professional cookery qualification.
- Experience in a similar role within high-end or fast casual food service.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on service excellence and team engagement.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- IT literate and confident using digital systems.
- Demonstrates innovation and a proactive approach within a dynamic environment.
- Capable of resolving issues efficiently to exceed client expectations.
- Committed to maintaining high kitchen operational standards.
- Able to deliver a clear vision and inspire team performance.
- Experienced in managing large-scale catering operations.
