The purpose of this role is to help ISS become the world's greatest service organisation by providing service performance facilitating our customers' purpose through people empowerment.
The aim is to always provide a world-class and consistent building maintenance service for our stakeholders.
Job Description
The technician in this role will provide Air Con/Refrigeration and building maintenance services to a client property(s) throughout the designated regions. This will include, but not limited to, fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installations on the client site(s).
Key Responsibilities
? Inspect, repair, modify equipment including air conditioning compressors, chillers, electrical components and controls
? Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of equipment as above and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
? Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, log switches, damper motors, louvers,
relays, filters, controls, belts, compressors, heat exchangers, high limit controls, pressure controls, safety valves, and automatic valves.
? Repair and rebuild semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors and compressors for centrifugal air conditioning / HVAC systems
? Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of systems and components, timers, motors and wiring systems as needed; connect motors
to control panels.
? Install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary; test joints and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
? Install, rebuild, replace, or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment, as necessary.
? Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include electrical, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
? To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
? To undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients' AC and electrical systems.
? Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.
? To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits

HVAC;
City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent
NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems OR
NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation OR
NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation Service & Maintenance
Electrical – Level 3 Electrical Qualification required;
City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2 OR
City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and NVQ 2356 and AM2 OR
City and Guilds 236/2360 In Electrical Installations part 1&2 OR
BTEC Electrical Electronic Engineering
City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2018) preferably with A2 Amendment
City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing 2391 or 2394/5
IPAF / PASMA
Full UK Driving License.
