We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our Technical Services team. This role is vital in delivering high-quality building services maintenance and ensuring safe, efficient operations across our client sites.
Job Description
The purpose of this role is to help ISS become the world's greatest service organisation by providing service performance facilitating our customers' purpose through people empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, and testing of building systems and equipment.
– Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and install electrical and mechanical systems in line with regulations and manufacturer instructions.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, risk assessments, and permits to work.
– Support contractor management, including monitoring and ensuring quality workmanship.
– Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time allocation.
– Suggest improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
– Significant experience in building services maintenance, including fault finding, repair, installation, and inspection/testing.
– Experience in facilities management or commercial property maintenance.
– Knowledge and practical application of Health & Safety procedures.
– 18th Edition IEE Regulations (essential).
– Experience with air conditioning systems and unvented hot water systems (desirable).
– The ability to problem solve, assess situations and deliver effective solutions.
– Background in both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
