We are seeking an experienced Energy Manager to deliver a world-class energy management service to high-profile clients across a diverse UK portfolio. The role sits within a leading Facilities Management provider and supports multiple premises that are both owned and sub-let, with a focus on reducing energy consumption, cost and carbon impact.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of energy performance across client sites, identify where energy is being wasted, and turn opportunities into practical, value‑adding projects that deliver sustained savings year on year.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a high-quality energy management service across a portfolio of client sites
- Monitor energy consumption and emissions against agreed targets
- Analyse energy data, utility usage and performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Carry out site-based energy surveys across client locations
- Identify and develop energy-saving initiatives to reduce cost and carbon year on year
- Build robust business cases for energy projects, including costs, savings and return on investment
- Support and assist with the delivery of energy efficiency projects
- Advise clients and internal teams on best practice in energy efficiency and compliance
- Detailed experience in an energy management or similar role
- Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, BMS, lighting and controls
- Proven experience delivering energy-saving projects and developing business cases
- Ability to analyse energy data, benchmarks and utility performance
- Experience using energy monitoring and targeting (M&T) software
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence clients and non-technical stakeholders
- Background working within facilities management, multi-site, or complex client environments
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across client sites
