We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our team, providing essential maintenance services across multiple train stations along the Northern Lines. This role involves delivering high-quality electrical and building services maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical PPM and mechanical/plumbing PPM, as well as proactive and reactive maintenance tasks within agreed timeframes.
- Perform building services maintenance, including basic fabric, HVAC, and related tasks.
- Provide callout response as per the rota and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor and control contractors’ work, issue Permits to Work, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Complete Fixed Wire Testing and associated rectification works to maintain technical compliance.
- Ensure all jobs are recorded accurately in the CAFM system and keep requesters informed of progress.
- Conduct health and safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with H&S regulations, COSHH, and company standards.
- Support Asset Compliance Manager and Regional Facilities Managers in delivering services aligned with contractual requirements and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Background in Facilities Management with experience in varied building maintenance tasks.
- Fully electrically qualified (18th Edition, Installations); additional building maintenance certifications are advantageous.
- Comfortable working in a mobile role and willing to travel as required.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and service providers.
- Willingness to participate in random drugs and alcohol testing as required by ISS & Network Rail.
