We are recruiting for Part Time Catering Assistants at various schools in the area.

As a Catering Assistant, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, helping to prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming school environment. From food preparation and service to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, you'll play an important role in ensuring students enjoy their lunchtime experience.

One of the key benefits of this role is the term-time-only contract with annualised pay. This means your salary is spread evenly across 12 months and paid monthly, giving you the security of a regular income throughout the year, including during school and college holiday periods.
The Role
- Support the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals.
- Set up and clear dining areas as required.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Follow allergen, dietary, and special meal requirements.
- Receive, store, and handle food deliveries correctly.
- Operate tills where required.
- Report any health and safety concerns, accidents, or equipment faults.
- Provide a friendly and professional service to students, staff, and visitors.
- Work collaboratively as part of the catering team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
