We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance across a regional portfolio. This role will ensure all works issued via the helpdesk are completed within agreed time‑frames and to a standard that exceeds customer expectations.
We are looking for someone with strong electrical expertise who can also support wider building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and associated tasks. This role requires a professional approach, a commitment to safe working practices, and the ability to represent the business confidently when liaising with clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Complete electrical PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance within agreed SLAs.
- Carry out building services tasks including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related maintenance.
- Provide callout response as part of the agreed rota.
- Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
- Ensure all electrical equipment operates to required performance criteria.
- Maintain equipment and surrounding areas to company standards.
- Deliver high‑quality customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Evaluate performance of equipment to ensure servicing and maintenance are completed correctly.
- Take a proactive approach to client communication, escalating issues where necessary.
- Ensure all administration and record‑keeping is accurate and completed on time.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant H&S regulations, including risk assessments and COSHH.
- FM/Maintenance background preferred; installation and fault‑finding experience highly beneficial.
- Strong fault‑finding capability, especially for reactive tasks.
- City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2.
- City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 Electrical Installation and NVQ 2356 AM2.
- City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Parts 1 & 2.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018), ideally with Amendment 2.
- City & Guilds 2391 / 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Full UK driving licence (required for regional travel).
