We are seeking a Food Host who enjoys engaging with customers and delivering high-quality food and drink experiences across our campus. This role focuses on creating welcoming, enjoyable interactions while preparing and serving food and drink in a live, customer-facing environment.
The Role
- Ensure the food and drink offer is the first choice for customers seeking refreshment
- Receive, process, prepare and deliver food and drink orders and experiences
- Engage with customers through conversation during live food and drink preparation
- Maintain clean, safe and organised service and back‑of‑house areas
- Deliver an experience that goes beyond basic service standards
- Stay up to date with food and drink trends and share insights with your manager
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and make informed recommendations to customers
- Support a variety of service styles, including pop‑ups, room hosting and beverage service
About You
- Fantastic customer service skills with a desire to develop further
- A social, welcoming personality with the ability to engage professionally with a wide range of customers
- A team player who can also work confidently and independently
- Considerate and proactive, with a willingness to support others
- Proven experience as a Food Host or Catering Assistant (ideally)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast‑paced environment
