We are looking for an Electrical Manager to help ISS deliver outstanding technical service and support our ambition to become the world's greatest service organisation. You will play a vital role in ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical operations across the site.
We are looking for a leader who can guide and develop our Electrical Operations & Maintenance team, ensuring all activities are carried out to the highest technical, regulatory and organisational standards. The successful candidate will manage resources, oversee verification processes, maintain compliance documentation, and act as NICEIC QS to uphold quality and statutory requirements across the contract.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Electrical Operations & Maintenance team, ensuring effective delivery of all electrical maintenance activities.
- Manage hiring, training, supervision, and appraisals for electrical staff and Technical Placemakers.
- Oversee installations, compliance verification and accurate recording of results on certificates and inspection reports.
- Undertake NICEIC QS duties to maintain quality, safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
- Assign tasks for Work Tickets and Preventative Maintenance Work Orders, ensuring PPMs and WOs are completed each month.
- Maintain and update all Operations & Maintenance documentation, ensuring it is accurately stored and easily retrievable.
- Work with the Facility Manager to ensure efficient deployment and utilisation of staff and resources.
- Strong electrical technical knowledge to SME level.
- Experience within Electrical Technical Services and HTMS.
- Background in managing electrical operations within a facilities/maintenance environment.
- Competence in supervising and developing multi-skilled technical teams.
- NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Testing & Inspection.
- LV and HV Authorised Person (AP).
