Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive electrical faults across multiple commercial sites.
- Fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, lighting, power, distribution boards, and controls.
- Undertake electrical testing and inspection, including periodic condition reports.
- Support system upgrades, small installation projects, and remedial works as required.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulations.
- Accurately complete electronic job sheets, test certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers and subcontractors.
Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation / ECS Card (essential).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) (essential).
- 2391 or 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (highly desirable).
- Proven experience as a mobile electrical maintenance or building services engineer.
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and general building services.
- Experience in fault finding, testing, and compliance within multi-site or FM environments.
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
