We are recruiting for an experienced Building Fabric Technician to join a leading facilities management contract supporting high-profile commercial properties across Belfast and Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled Fabric Engineer or Building Maintenance Technician looking for a stable, long-term role with excellent support, overtime opportunities, and a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs.
- General building fabric maintenance including doors, locks/hinges, flooring, and internal fixtures.
- Floor repairs including fitting and replacing tiles and other surface materials.
- Minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing taps, and basic pipework maintenance.
- Carrying out basic painting, patch repairs, and general upkeep of internal and external areas.
- Accurately completing job sheets, compliance documentation, and CAFM system updates.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience in a fabric or multi-skilled maintenance role.
- Background in facilities management or mobile maintenance environments.
- Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance (PPM).
- Comfortable working across multiple sites and travelling long distances (up to 100 miles/day).
- Good understanding of completing maintenance paperwork and job reporting systems.
- Full UK Driver’s License (maximum 6 points, no drink driving offences).
