This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.
HarbourVest is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Evergreen Solutions operations team with a broad role in supporting the head of non-US Evergreen Operations in coordinating for Non-US evergreen vehicles and SMA’s. Guided by a clear and daring mission, the Evergreen Solutions Team is enabling HarbourVest to become the leading multimanager provider of private markets focused evergreen solutions for wealth and institutional investors globally. Our team blends deep investment expertise with industry-leading data, technology, and portfolio management capabilities to deliver scalable solutions for institutions and wealth partners. We collaborate across HarbourVest to build purpose-built tools, streamline operations, and deliver clear insights that support allocation and long-term portfolio construction.
The ideal candidate is someone who is:
- Knowledgeable and understands the mechanics and inter-dependencies of evergreen funds.

- Highly proficient with Microsoft, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
What you will do:
- Provide day-to-day operational oversight for non-US based evergreen products, ensuring core fund routines are accomplished accurately and on schedule.
- Support the regulatory oversight of the products in addition to the production, maintenance, and governance of key regulatory documentation such as prospectus materials, PRIIPs Key Information Documents (KIDs), European MiFID Templates (EMT), open fund’s and European PRIIPs Templates (EPT).
- Monitor evolving regulatory requirements across EMEA and APAC, assessing impacts to product operations, disclosures, and reporting.
- Serve as the contact for third-party administrators, regulatory vendors, and service providers. Make sure regulatory documents and reporting are delivered timely and accurately when a blocking issue occurs.
- Work with sales, investment specialists and distribution specialists to evaluate commercial opportunities and drive the implementation of operating models and solutions to facilitate continued growth.
- Drive fund board reporting.
- Provide oversight for cash, credit facility and depositary.
- Support business management.
- Support product launches, new share class introductions, and platform onboarding from an operational and regulatory perspective.

What you bring:
- Strong understanding of private markets and European regulatory landscape, experience of UCITS a plus.
- Strong written and oral English communication (other language skills nice to have).
- Broad understanding of fund operations.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience of European regulatory and commercial landscape including solid knowledge of producing and managing regulatory disclosures, including PRIIPs KIDs, EMT, EPT, and open funds.
- Strong understanding of open-ended or evergreen fund structures and regulated fund environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong collaborator management capability.
Education Preferred:
- Degree or equivalent.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in fund/product or investment operations or a related role within private markets (private credit, private equity), evergreen products or UCITS.
