The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to take a lead role in the delivery of specification, documentation and supervision activities on highways technology installation and maintenance projects in the M1 Corridor. You will ensure that all projects are controlled and completed on time and within budget, as well as taking responsibility for ensuring health and safety practices are correctly implemented for the field teams.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Project Management within the highways industry and a strong understanding of Highways Technology or CCTV/ANPR/VMS industries.
Skills and Experience:
- A strong background in the highways industry, ideally dealing with technology (NRTS, RTMC, TPMS, HADECS, VMS, ANPR, etc.)
- Solid experience and knowledge of project management methodologies (APMP, Prince2, etc.)
- Relevant knowledge of technology maintenance, design, development and delivery
- Experienced in delivering projects in accordance with CDM requirements
- Relevant qualifications such as IOSH/SMSTS, SSTMS, CSCS
- Current G39, HERS8, NRSWA, NHSS8 Qualification (highly desirable)
- Full drivers licence
