A 6-month contract opportunity for an experienced User Researcher to support the development and enhancement of a specific healthcare product for a confidential UK central government agency. The role involves conducting user research and testing to understand user needs, validate the product experience, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of working within digital or technology environments.
- Practical experience of designing and conducting user research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Experience with:
- User interviews
- Surveys
- Diary studies
- User testing
- Usability testing
- Qualitative research
- Quantitative research
- Research analysis and synthesis
- Identifying user needs, behaviours, and pain points
- Turning research findings into actionable recommendations
- Translating user feedback into user stories or product requirements
- Stakeholder engagement and communication
- Comfortable working collaboratively with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Designers, and technical teams.
- Able to communicate research findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Experience:

- Complex digital transformation programmes.
- Central government or wider public-sector environments.
- Working within multidisciplinary Agile product teams.
- Evaluating potential product use cases and making evidence-based recommendations.
