Skills and Experience
- Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the products and services the company offers.
- Contribute to daily Project update meetings escalating issues and supporting colleagues.
- Contribute to identification of opportunities for improvement in how the Project Delivery team operates.
- Contribute to company Quality proceedings by alerting the Operations Manager to any deviations from expected procedures that lead to negative or positive outcomes.
- Maintain positive and supportive relationships with all colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that any impediments to achieving any elements of this job description are escalated and raised with the Operations Manager.
- Take accountability for the successful delivery of a fair and appropriate share of new client and/or internal projects with a project portfolio limited to simpler standardised project types.
- Maintain robust legible and regular updates to company project management records within the company's choice of project management tools.
- Apply an appropriate balance of standardised process with creativity and flexibility when approaching planning projects resource scheduling and ensuring internal and external stakeholders receive communication in relation to project status updates.
The Opportunity
My client working within the technology sector are currently looking to recruit for a Project Administrator on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with an interest in the IT industry and who is looking to build a successful career working on multiple projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager the role requires a candidate who is driven, has strong multi‑tasking and prioritising skills who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and who has a proven track record of working within a fast‑paced environment. Whilst not a technical role the Project Administrator will be expected to and supported in developing and maintaining a strong technical understanding of the products and services.
