A Highways Electrician is required to work in a field-based capacity in and around the Hampshire area. This role involves conducting inspection, testing, and maintenance on a variety of electrical street furniture equipment.

Ideally, candidates will have a background in roadside technology with experience in street lighting, RTIP, traffic signals, ANPR, etc. However, individuals with an electrical background who are willing to work on roadside technologies are also encouraged to apply.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with the installation and maintenance of street furniture (highly beneficial)
  • Electrical/electronic experience and qualifications (C&G 2365, 2391, BS7671, etc.)
  • Willingness to work in a field-based capacity or with roadside assets
  • Current G39, HERS8, NRSWA, NHSS8 qualification (highly desirable)
  • Full driver's licence
