We are currently seeking a highly motivated and professional Service and Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic operations team.
This role demands a detail-oriented, self-disciplined individual committed to operational excellence, customer satisfaction and adherence to the highest safety standards.
We are looking for candidates who have relevant experience within the maintenance sector (Mist, Pump Systems or similar).
N.B. Candidates will be able to go through Enhanced Level 1 security vetting
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Visit Planning – Proactively review assigned work schedules, ensuring all necessary equipment, tools, and service kits are loaded onto the works van. Liaise with the office team to arrange additional supplies as required.
- Customer Service – Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and their staff. Act as a brand ambassador for Fireworks, demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times.
- Maintenance and Repair Work – Execute all maintenance and repair tasks to the highest standard, following service instructions and safety protocols. Label and return any system components removed from client sites, ensuring clear identification of part and issue. Remain available and responsive during designated call-out periods. Keep agreed call-out dates free from personal commitments and communicate any potential conflicts promptly.
- Service Vehicle Management – Maintain allocated service vehicle in optimal condition, conducting daily and weekly checks. Drive responsibly in compliance with all legal and company requirements. Equipment care and maintenance. Conduct pre-use checks, ladder inspections, PAT testing and calibrations as required.
- Purchasing and Financial Compliance – Ensure all purchases on the company credit card are necessary, work-related, and accurately documented with receipts and paperwork.
- Training and Professional Development – Complete assigned training within designated timeframes. Maintain all required CSCS cards, competency certifications, and relevant qualifications. Communication. Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance (QHSE). Adhere to all company QHSE policies and procedures. Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience within the maintenance sector (Mist, Pump Systems or similar).
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS cards, competency certifications, and relevant qualifications (maintained).
- Willingness to undertake Enhanced Level 1 security vetting (as applicable).
