The Opportunity:
Our client, a securely funded altnet operator, is looking for an IT Solutions Director to oversee the design, development, costing, and implementation of IT, OSS/BSS, and UX solutions.
You will drive both technical and cultural change, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term strategic business objectives and operational requirements.
You will lead and develop a high-performing IT OSS/BSS solutions team and play a key part in the delivery of large, complex strategic programmes.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and managing Enterprise OSS/BSS systems and technical solutions.
- Strong leadership and people management experience, including remote and distributed teams.
- Expertise in managing and delivering large-scale technology change programmes.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, Software Design, or related field.
- ITIL and Agile foundation-level qualifications.
- Experience with private/public cloud environments and virtualisation technologies.
