Skills and Experience:
- Development experience using Visual Basic (VB) or similar
- Experience with workflow scripting and automation within a case management or business system
- Experience of screen, document and form creation and maintenance
- Understanding of database management principles
- Ability to create and maintain workflow and technical documentation
- Comfortable working in a role that combines system development and general IT support
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues
- Experience with visual files or similar case management systems is absolutely essential
- SQL experience highly desirable
The Opportunity:
Our client based in the private sector is currently looking for an Application Development and Support Analyst. You will be responsible for supporting and developing our client's legal case management systems, providing day-to-day IT support across the business, and helping to improve business processes through technology. Experience with Visualfiles is highly desirable; however, please also apply if you have developed or supported similar workflow or case management systems and are keen to learn and develop within a thriving environment. Suitable candidates will ideally be based within commuting distance of Taunton.
