Job Description
The Opportunity:\\n\\nI’m on the lookout for an ambitious Electronics/Hardware Technician who is looking to on their existing IT knowledge in a multi-skilled Systems Repair Tech role.\\n\\nYou will join a team who are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing cutting edge roadside technology, focussing on hardware, software and networking related issues.\\n\\nThe ideal candidate will come from an electronics/hardware background with experience fault finding to board level, who also has exposure to or a keen interesting in IT and software.\\n\\nTraining will be provided to cover any gaps in IT knowledge, as well as being presented with opportunities to pick up additional skills and responsibilities.\\n\\nSkills and Experience:\\n\\n * A background in diagnosing and troubleshooting electronics/hardware\\n\\n * Fault finding to board level\\n\\n * A keen interest or exposure to dealing with software issues (operating systems, config files)\\n\\n * Knowledge/exposure to IT Networking (IP, LAN, WAN, Routing, etc.)\\n\\n * A willingness to learn and develop your skill set in order to advance within the company structure\\n\\n * Able to pass basic criminal background checks\\n\\nLocation: Onsite in Southampton\\n\\nEarnings: £35,000 to £40,000 per year\\n\\nPlease contact Simon here at ISR to learn more about our client based in the Hampshire area are leading the way in developing the next-generation of transport mobility through innovation and transformational technology?
